| CCP’s 2006 Stellar Fundraising Auction is a resounding success
With the generous support of 57 Australian and New Zealand artists, CCP raised over $50,000 at a fundraising auction held at CCP on Saturday 2 September. CCP acknowledges the artists–who in many respects subsidise the arts sector– and thanks them and their representatives for generous support through donation of their work. The Stellar Auction was an entertaining afternoon, with attendance of about 250 on the day and 60 each day for the previews. Auctioneer, Roger McIlroy, Directror Neville Keating McIlroy Ltd, donated his services, which were both entertaining and skilful. Funds raised are critical to CCP, not simply as icing on CCP’s cake but will be distributed over CCP’s 2006 and 2007 operations. PARTICIPATING ARTISTS :
