LIMITED EDITION PRINT FUNDRAISER
On an annual basis CCP presents a Limited Edition Print (LEP) as its major fundraising initiative. Drawing upon its longstanding position within contemporary art, CCP invites significant Australian artists to contribute a single work or suite of images. In 2008, in support of CCP, Anne Zahalka reissued her classic work The Bathers 1989, in an edition of 12; in 2009, Bill Henson reissued his Untitled 1985/86, also in an edition of 12; in 2010, Simryn Gill reissued A small town at the turn of the century #5 1999–2001/2010; and in 2011, to celebrate CCP's 25th Anniversary, Patricia Piccinini created The Fitzroy Series, her first photographic suite since 2005, which she made especially for CCP's Limited Edition Print.
Eighty percent of funds raised through the CCP Limited Edition Print enable CCP to support the practice and presentation of contemporary photography through the provision of exhibitions, education, public programs and publishing, with the artist retaining twenty percent.
