CCP imagebank terms and conditions
1. By uploading content to the CCP Imagebank the user agrees to and will abide by the terms and conditions as specified below
2. To participate in the CCP Imagebank and the Nikon Imagebank Award users must be a current Member of the CCP
3. Uploading content to the CCP Imagebank automatically enters Members into the Nikon Imagebank Award
4. Entrants may submit multiple images to the Imagebank
5. Entrants with multiple images in the Imagebank must specify which image they are entering in the Nikon Imagebank Award by selecting the 'Make this my entry for Nikon 2007' button next to the image in their list of Imagebank records before 2 November 2007
6. Imagebank records will remain on the site while membership is current. CCP retains the right to delete CCP Imagebank records once membership expires without prior notification
7. All images should be either JPEG or GIF format at 72 DPI, with a maximum file size of 1MB. Imagebank will automatically resize the image to the required dimensions and crop a thumbnail. Entrants may upload their own thumbnail if they prefer
8. Uploaded images must be accompanied by the Member’s name, title of the work, year the image was made, medium and dimensions of the original image
9. The Member agrees not to submit the following forms of content to CCP Imagebank:
Content and/or links to websites that contain content that is unlawful, pornographic, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable.
Content and/or links to websites that contain content which infringes any copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights of any third party
10. All Imagebank records must be approved by CCP prior to publication to the CCP Imagebank. CCP retains the right to reject a Member’s Imagebank record that contains images or content CCP considers inappropriate for public viewing in the CCP Imagebank and no correspondence will be entered into.
11. An optional artist's statement of maximum 100 words may accompany the image
12. An optional external website address may accompany the image. The website address must be relevant to the CCP Member’s Imagebank record. The Member agrees not to submit a website address linking to any content that is deemed inappropriate for viewing online by CCP
13. To be eligible for the Nikon Imagebank Award members’ records must be uploaded onto the site no later than 5pm Friday 2 November 2007. Records uploaded after this date will be included for selection in the following year
14. A representative from Nikon and a representative from CCP will judge the award and the winner will be announced on CCP’s website and on the Imagebank, in Flash and at the CCP
15. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into
16. Relatives, employees and board members of Nikon or CCP are not permitted to participate in the CCP Imagebank or the Nikon Imagebank Award
