2007 CCP NIKON IMAGEBANK AWARD

With the generous support of Nikon, CCP presented an exciting annual award exclusive to CCP Members. Participating Members had the opportunity to win a Nikon D80 Digital SLR camera, with AF-S DX 18-135mm Lens.

The winner of the Nikon CCP Imagebank Award for on-line photography has been announced.
The winner is Leah Holscher for Fascination, 2006.

Leah Holscher's image was selected by the judges from more than one hundred entries of this web-based contest, developed by the Centre for Contemporary Photography, in association with long-time CCP supporter, Nikon Australia Pty Ltd. There were two judges, Nikon Australia Marketing Manager, Craig Gillespie and CCP Director, Naomi Cass.

2007 Prize

The winner of the 2007 Nikon CCP Imagebank Award for the best online image received a Nikon D80 Digital SLR camera, with AF-S DX 18-135mm Lens.

The D80 features a new 10.2 effective megapixel DX Format CCD image sensor, bringing a new level of high resolution and sharp detail to the class while also providing plenty of freedom to crop creatively and print impressive enlargements.

Nikon's DX Format sensor and Nikon F bayonet lens mount design assure unprecedented compatibility across the comprehensive assortment of AF Nikkor lenses and DX Nikkor lenses designed exclusively for Nikon digital SLR cameras.

Imagebank has been expanded and improved

List your photography services: Do you have a commercial photography business? Prospective clients can now use Imagebank to find a photographer for a range of photography services. Be sure to list your skills. Log into Imagebank and click on 'Edit my services' to update your list of services.

Contact the photographer: To extend the photographic services section we have added a contact form. This contact form does not disclose your email address, but allows a prospective client or fan to contact you, while keeping your privacy intact. To check that your email address is current in Imagebank, log in and click on 'Edit my details'.

Upload multiple images: All Imagebank users can upload as many images as they please. Get online and start uploading. Log into Imagebank and click on 'Create a new Imagebank record'.

Imagebank is easier to use: We've improved Imagebank by simplifying the upload process. You can now upload an image and Imagebank will automatically resize the image, and it will even crop a thumbnail for you.

Imagebank is faster to search: Imagebank now has a preview search function. When using the search function, Imagebank will tell you how many results will return, before you make the search.

Send to a friend: You can now use Imagebank to send photos to your friends. Just browse a photo you like and send it to your friend, it's quick and easy.
