MICHAEL CORRIDORE
ANGRY BLACK SNAKE
People usually pursue some type of activity, as either spectator or participant and according to their passion, to provide entertainment, exhilaration or happiness. I am interested in capturing these experiences, celebrations and moments of enjoyment, as people partake in various activities or leisure pursuits. I photograph these incidents out of context with their existing environment and the surrounding events, depicting the scenes and people so they appear more dream-like, whether they are pleasant or post apocalyptic. Recording the actual events is not important for me; I aim to portray an experience. I invite viewers to project scenarios that may have transpired outside the frame onto the images, interpreting them according to their own experiences.
