AWARDS AND COMPETITIONS

Centre for Contemporary Photography presents the following awards and competitions for photographic artists:

Kodak Salon
The Kodak Salon is an annual event celebrating the latest developments in photo-based practice. An open-entry exhibition and competition the Kodak Salon provides an excellent opportunity to exhibit work in a professional, high profile context.

Leica/CCP Documentary Photography Award
The biennial Leica/CCP Documentary Photography Award presents a survey of the best contemporary Australian documentary photography in series format. The Award is open to established and aspiring photographers using both analogue and digital cameras, however no alteration of the content of photographs is permitted. The next Award will be held in 2009.

CCP/Colour Factory Award for an Emerging Photographic Artist
The annual Colour Factory Award for emerging photographic artists, is awarded to an artist in the first eight years of their practice. The selected artist is provided with type C exhibition prints, consultation with Colour Factory and a solo exhibition in Gallery Two at CCP.
